Impact Learning Collective Enrollment Process

A Purposeful Pathway to Join Our Community

Our enrollment process is designed to ensure that each child and caregiver finds the right fit within our inclusive, faith-based learning environment. Here's what to expect:

computer

Submit Your Application

Start by completing our online application form. This helps us get to know your child’s strengths, needs, and learning style. You’ll be asked to share basic information about your family, your child’s educational history, and any developmental diagnoses or support needs.

Enrollment & Orientation

Families who move forward with enrollment will complete registration, pay applicable fees, and receive a welcome packet. We’ll also invite you to a New Family Orientation to meet our teachers, tour the space, and review expectations before the school year begins.

email

Admissions Review & Notification

After your family interview, our admissions team will review your application materials. We’ll carefully consider your child’s fit for our classroom structure, support resources, and social environment. Admission decisions are typically made within 7–10 business days.

📬 You’ll receive an official admissions decision by email.

Student Readiness Assessment

Once accepted, your child will complete a developmentally appropriate assessment. This helps us understand their current skill levels in core areas (literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development) and identify how to tailor support from the start. No preparation needed—this is not a test, but a tool to help us meet your child where they are.

Family Interview

Once we receive your application, we’ll schedule a family interview. This is a relaxed, conversational meeting where we can connect personally, walk you through our philosophy, and answer your questions. It also gives us the chance to learn more about your goals and expectations.

📍 Interviews may take place in person or virtually.

HOW CAN WE HELP

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS IMPACT LEARNING COLLECTIVE?
Impact Learning Collective is a full-day, 5-day-a-week homeschool co-op powered by Multiply Ministries. ILC is located at Church of the Holy City, 1118 N Broom St, Wilmington, DE, serving children ages 3–13. We offer a STEAM-based, project-driven curriculum in a faith-based, inclusive environment that affirms both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners.
IS THIS A SCHOOL OR CO-OP?
We are a homeschool co-op — not a traditional private school. Families retain legal homeschooling status but receive full-day academic instruction, enrichment, and support through our structured program, Monday through Friday.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER WITH THE STATE AS A HOMESCHOOLER?

Yes. Parents must register as homeschoolers in Delaware and report attendance. We can guide you through this simple process if you’re new to homeschooling.

IS IMPACT LEARNING COLLECTIVE ONLY FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM?
Not at all. We welcome all learners, but we specialize in creating an autism-affirming environment. That means we are particularly equipped to support autistic children — while offering enrichment that benefits every child.
WHAT AGES OR GRADE LEVELS DO YOU SERVE?

We currently serve children ages 3 to 13, typically spanning preschool through early middle school.

DO STUDENT RECEIVE A DEVICE?

Yes! Students receive a loaned iPad (ages 3–8) or Chromebook (ages 9–13) to support digital homework assignments. Devices are returned at the end of each school year.

IS LUNCH INCLUDED?

Yes! Lunch and snacks are included in your tuition. We aim to provide balanced, kid-friendly meals.

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES AROUND PARENT INVOLVEMENT?

Parents that are interested (or not able) to volunteer are responsible for paying $295 to opt out of serving in a helper position. There are only a few opt-out options available each year. Should a parent not be available, we will make room for an adult (18+) to volunteer in their place.

IS THERE A SIBLING DISCOUNT?

Yes! We offer a sibling discount of $750 off per additional child enrolled full-time at ILC. This discount is applied after the first full tuition is paid.

Example:

  • 1st child: Full tuition
  • 2nd child: $750 discount
  • 3rd child: Additional $750 discount
WHY DO YOU USE AGES INSTEAD OF GRADES?

Our typical grade level mapping aligns with the age ranges we're serving and is adjusted to accommodate both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners in a flexible, inclusive co-op setting. Students are grouped by developmental readiness, not strictly by chronological age. Flexibility is built into the co-op to support individual learning pace, especially for autistic children who may excel or need reinforcement in different subjects.
