A Purposeful Pathway to Join Our Community
Families who move forward with enrollment will complete registration, pay applicable fees, and receive a welcome packet. We’ll also invite you to a New Family Orientation to meet our teachers, tour the space, and review expectations before the school year begins.
After your family interview, our admissions team will review your application materials. We’ll carefully consider your child’s fit for our classroom structure, support resources, and social environment. Admission decisions are typically made within 7–10 business days.
📬 You’ll receive an official admissions decision by email.
Once accepted, your child will complete a developmentally appropriate assessment. This helps us understand their current skill levels in core areas (literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development) and identify how to tailor support from the start. No preparation needed—this is not a test, but a tool to help us meet your child where they are.
Once we receive your application, we’ll schedule a family interview. This is a relaxed, conversational meeting where we can connect personally, walk you through our philosophy, and answer your questions. It also gives us the chance to learn more about your goals and expectations.
📍 Interviews may take place in person or virtually.
We welcome families from a variety of backgrounds. Ask us about therapeutic services billing through insurance, and sibling discounts during your application process.
All families pay the following fees at the time of enrollment.
These fees help cover administrative processing, onboarding, digital curriculum, and access to devices and educational technology used in class.
Annual Registration Fee:
$150 per child
(non-refundable)
Annual Technology Fee
$100 per child
(non-refundable)
HOW CAN WE HELP
Yes. Parents must register as homeschoolers in Delaware and report attendance. We can guide you through this simple process if you’re new to homeschooling.
We currently serve children ages 3 to 13, typically spanning preschool through early middle school.
Yes! Students receive a loaned iPad (ages 3–8) or Chromebook (ages 9–13) to support digital homework assignments. Devices are returned at the end of each school year.
Yes! Lunch and snacks are included in your tuition. We aim to provide balanced, kid-friendly meals.
Parents that are interested (or not able) to volunteer are responsible for paying $295 to opt out of serving in a helper position. There are only a few opt-out options available each year. Should a parent not be available, we will make room for an adult (18+) to volunteer in their place.
Yes! We offer a sibling discount of $750 off per additional child enrolled full-time at ILC. This discount is applied after the first full tuition is paid.

Our typical grade level mapping aligns with the age ranges we're serving and is adjusted to accommodate both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners in a flexible, inclusive co-op setting. Students are grouped by developmental readiness, not strictly by chronological age. Flexibility is built into the co-op to support individual learning pace, especially for autistic children who may excel or need reinforcement in different subjects.
Age Range | Typical U.S. Grade Equivalent | ILC Group Name |
---|---|---|
3–5 years | Preschool – Kindergarten | Early Learners |
6–8 years | 1st – 3rd Grade | Primary Explorers |
9–11 years | 4th – 6th Grade | Intermediate Innovators |
12–13 years | 7th – 8th Grade | Emerging Leaders |
